GLOW RETREAT RELEASE OF CLAIMS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Terms and Conditions of Participation
By registering for and participating in a GLOW Retreat, participants acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
Participation in the GLOW Retreat ("the Retreat") operated by CREST Collaborative/GLOW Retreat ("the Company") is voluntary. The Retreat includes physical activities such as yoga, meditation, movement classes, spa treatments, outdoor activities, and community engagement.
2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Participation in the Retreat involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Physical injury from movement, yoga, hiking, or other physical activities
Allergic reactions to foods, spa products, or environmental factors
Emotional or psychological discomfort during workshops or group activities
Travel-related risks including transportation to and from the venue
Risks associated with COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, whether known or unknown, and accept full responsibility for their own physical and emotional well-being.
3. MEDICAL CONDITION DISCLOSURE
Participants certify that they are physically and mentally capable of participating in all Retreat activities. Participants must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or limitations that may affect their participation in the registration form. Participants are responsible for consulting with their physician before participating if they have any health concerns.
4. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue CREST Collaborative, GLOW Retreat, its owners, employees, contractors, facilitators, instructors, volunteers, and agents (collectively "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained during participation in the Retreat, whether caused by negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. INDEMNIFICATION
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including attorney's fees, that may occur due to their participation in the Retreat, whether caused by their own actions or the actions of others.
6. MEDICAL EMERGENCY
Participants authorize the Company and its representatives to seek emergency medical treatment on their behalf if necessary. Participants agree to assume all costs associated with medical treatment and transportation. Accurate emergency contact information must be provided during registration.
7. MEDIA RELEASE
GLOW Retreat may capture photographs, videos, or other media during the Retreat for marketing and promotional purposes. Participants will indicate their media consent preferences in the registration form.
8. REFUND POLICY
GLOW Retreat does not offer refunds. Travel insurance is required to protect participants' investment. Participants accept full responsibility for securing appropriate coverage.
9. CODE OF CONDUCT
Participants agree to:
Treat all participants, facilitators, and staff with respect and kindness
Maintain confidentiality regarding personal information shared by other participants
Engage authentically and with an open heart
Follow the guidance of retreat facilitators and respect retreat boundaries
Refrain from behavior that disrupts the experience for others
The Company reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior is deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe, without refund.
10. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Washington State.
11. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By completing registration and attending a GLOW Retreat, participants acknowledge that they have read this Release of Claims and Assumption of Risk in its entirety, understand that they are giving up substantial rights including the right to sue, and agree to these terms freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
